We cater for weddings, parties and exhibitions. We have a function room, as well as extensive audio visual equipment which is available to use on-site.

Weddings and Civil Partnership receptions

Your wedding or civil partnership reception at La Sala is a special, but cost-effective event. Our staff will make your big day an event to remember.

Not only is our venue suitable for the later-night party, but we will also offer a custom menu, whatever your budget. Whether you're after a sumptuous Spanish buffet, or a three course sit-down meal, quite literally, we'll cater for you!

There are no minimum numbers, unless you wish to guarantee exclusive use of the venue.

Parties

There are two options for party nights. We can either offer the rear function room, or offer use of the entire venue. To use our entire venue, there are minimum number requirements.

We are licensed until 0100 normally, and until 0300 during the Edinburgh Festival.

We'll need at least two weeks notice of particularly noisy parties, or late parties happening on days other than Friday and Saturday, so that we can keep our neighbours happy, they're wonderfully accommodating, but do need a little advance notice.

Exhibitions

Temporary Art exhibitions

• Artists are invited to exhibit free of charge at La Sala. Exhibitions normally last between three and six weeks. There is no charge to the artist for us hosting your exhibition, however, we do ask that a percentage of your sales from this exhibition be donated to a Gay and Lesbian charity, such as Edinburgh LGBT Centre (where we're based), Terrence Higgins Trust, or Waveley Care.

Equipment for use (Audio Visual, Effects)

You may provide your own equipment, or use ours - these prices are significantly cheaper than those at DJ hire shops, but are available for use only La Sala.
