Welcome to La Sala
Sala Cafe Bar is the focus of gay cultural life on Broughton Street, slap bang in the middle of Edinburgh's gay district, known as the Pink Triangle, and shares a building with the city's LGBT centre.
Its reincarnation as a Spanish neighbourhood-y place suits it; the place looks good, and feels good. Especially when sat in the fab big window, watching the colourful world go by.
Back to basics, good, wholesome Spanish cooking is the basis of Sala's menu, organised into fish, meat, paellas, platters, vegetables, salads, and sandwiches. Veggie and vegan dishes are clearly marked. New dishes are slowly being introduced, such as their yummy homemade burger. All reasonably priced, and served by lovely staff. |
